So what is gobdeegob?
Gob dee gob is a way of life. Gob dee gob means "I might not be able to walk on my own, yet, but I'll still run circles around you."
Either you gob dee gob, or you don't.
Walking: check. Talking: working on it. Feeding myself: check Next step: world domination.
If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.

My Mom is such a nerd. And she hogs the toys, too.
Long overdue update
Hey, everyone, sorry for the delay in updating, I’ve just been super busy.
Where to start, well, we had a fun birthday party at my Ya-Ya and GiGi’s house over the weekend, and I ate a bunch of cake. It was really good. People also gave me things, which is also really cool. So thanks everyone for that.
Sunday was a fun day with swinging in the park and a trip to El Mercado with my Nani. They had these people dancing with bottles on their heads, which seemed really silly to me, since you can’t drink when your BaBa is on your head. You have to hold your BaBa in your hands, and tip your head back. I mean, I see the attraction. I like BaBas, and I like dancing. These should go well together. I just think they got it all wrong. But the dresses the girls wore were really colorful, and fun to look at.
Monday was pretty routine for me, but, good news, my Grandpa Rickles got to go home from the hospital. He’s doing really well and should have a good recovery. Also, my Uncle Daniel is now Captain Uncle Daniel, he was sworn in as a Captain in the U.S. Airforce. This is doubly cool, because he might be able to get me access to Area 51, or the StarGate, and it also means that he and My Aunt Sara and Cousin Alex are moving here to San Antonio in a few months. Hooray for that! We’ll have to go out to Sea World and celebrate. I can’t wait to trick my Cousin Alex with the old “Basement of the Alamo” trick; That’s what older cousins are for, right?
Tuesday was my birthday. I don’t want to be that guy that makes a big deal out of getting older, so I’ll just say that I’m a year older than I was this time last year, and leave it at that. Everyone at school got together and made me a really cool, bright green poster with their handprints on it. I want to put it next to all of my art on the fridge, but Mom says there’s not enough room. I told her we should just get a bigger fridge. Dad totally had my back on that one, but Mom said it wouldn’t work. Oh well, we’ll find a place for the art.
One of my favorite things about my birthday has been the cards. A whole lot of my friends and family members who live far away sent me birthday cards in the mail. They’re all really neat, with cool pictures on them, and silly rhymes, too. Thanks everyone who sent them in. A whole bunch of other people wished me happy birthday on the Facebook. I don’t know why all those old people like Facebook so much. If I want to poke or be someone’s friend, I’ll do it in person.
I’m really looking forward to another birthday, but it seems like i literally waited my entire life to get to this birthday. I don’t think I can wait that long again.
Food review
Over the course of the last month Mom and Dad have been giving me chunky food. Here are my thoughts on some of those items:
1. Hot dogs: YUMMY!! At first I was a little confused, because I like dogs in general. Ya know…to pet, play with and kiss. So, I was a little confused when Mommy tried to get me to eat one. I AM GLAD SHE DID. So tasty. Sleep with one eye open, Ferris.
2. Melon: Tasty and pretty. All the colors in my bowl reminded me of previous art projects. Pink, orange and green…so pretty. My next masterpiece will be based on my experiences with this food, and I will call it ” Spellin Melon”. A colorful combination of food and letters.
3. Macaroni and cheese: MMMMMMMMMM. I don’t know why macaroni art is so popular. Eat it, people!! So good and cheesy. Melon, as mentioned above, is colorful. Mac and Cheese isn’t. It’s just good for eating. Don’t glamorize it. I’ll eat it again:)
4. Bananas: Puree, whole, mashed, in oatmeal, in a cookie. You can’t mess up a banana. I must say that this is one of my favorites. It’s the perfect, portable food. It has its own wrapper too!! I don’t think my Daddy likes them too much because every time I eat one, he makes his “icky” face. Maybe I should mash one up and mix it in his coffee?? He’ll never know. That’s what Mommy does when she wants me to eat something I don’t want to eat. I’m onto you, Mommy. I just play along so you don’t get mad. Bottom line: bananas get 2 enthusiastic thumbs up.
5. Nilla Wafers: I should “friend” Ernie Keebler on Facebook because he makes a great cookie. I wonder if he teaches any classes or speaks at Daycares? I would be interested to learn a thing or 2 from him. Don’t get me wrong, Mom bakes a mean cupcake, but Ernie wins in the cookie category.
Overall, food is good. The only thing I hate is green beans. So, I’ll keep you posted. I’m excited to see what tomorrow brings. Until then, Nilla Wafer wishes and banana dreams.
More Weezer dancing. Also, Mom just told me I listened to Weezer a lot in utero, so I guess I have heard them before. And, yes, I know that In Utero is the name of a Nirvana album, but it also means while Mommy was still pregnant. Duh.
Why did Mom and Dad wait almost a year to introduce me to Weezer? These guys ROCK!
BATH: Bubbles, Awesomeness, Tub, Holla!
Nothing is more refreshing than a huge bucket filled with water. What’s better?? Little bitty buckets inside that HUGE bucket that I can fill with water and play with. I also enjoy splashing the water until my mommy and daddy get mad. Pretty sure I actually said “bath” and “bubble” today. I just opened my mouth, and out it came. LIKE MAGIC, PEOPLE!!! Now that I have walking down, I plan on perfecting my command on the English language. Anyway, more about baths. I love how when I bang my hands in the water, the water goes everywhere. I have even found out that there is a HUGE, arm that comes out of the wall, and that is where the water comes from. I have even figured out how to make the water come out of the arm. So amazing…an endless source! I guess I also get all the sticky off too, which is a good thing.
Bottom line: Baths are for cool people.
